Parking

There are a number of parks right outside the gym, but often you may need to park on the road. We have a lot of neighbours so please be considerate and don’t park in their allocated parking spaces. Thanks.

4-Week Intro

After your free trial, you will either love us or hate us…..

If it’s the former, we have a number of ways for you to become a part of our community.

Group Fundamentals Intro Program: $250

1. Enroll in our Intro Program ($250, or $200 if you sign up with a friend) – starting with 12 small group sessions; giving you a grounding in all our core movements – bodyweight exercises, kettlebells, basic gymnastics, barbell lifts and more. The aim is to progress your knowledge, technique and fitness to a level that will allow you to join our regular classes.

Intro Programs are currently starting every month (M/W/F 630am, or M/W 630pm and F 530pm). All 12 sessions must be attended or made up via a 45 min private session ($50 extra per session).

2. If you cannot make the scheduled Intro sessions, or have missed the start of an Intro and want to start immediately, you can opt for the Fast Track Intro – a series of six private sessions with a CFNZ coach ($500, discounted for multiple people). You also receive two free weeks of training in our regular sessions.

3. Experienced CrossFitters can join our regular classes with a reference from their previous coach.

Private Fundamentals $625

If you can’t make the scheduled sessions of the Groups, or you have injuries, or have been extremely inactive, you can book in times that suit you with one of our coaches.

We offer 9 private sessions over 3 weeks, plus 1 weeks free training in our main classes.

NB: Graduation from Privates to our regular classes is at the coaches discretion.  You may be required to complete extra classes.  We’re not trying to fleece you here, but we have a responsibility to both you and our existing members.  We want you safe and moving well before you take the next step.

After your first month you can decide upon an enrollment option that suits you best.

Free Trial

A CrossFit workout may be the hardest thing you will ever do in your life. That doesn’t mean we are only looking for elite athletes. Many athletes cruise along on their genetic gifts and wouldn’t know hard work if it bit them on the arse. We welcome people who are willing to put in the effort in order to improve themselves. People who realise there are no shortcuts in life. We want people who will make a positive contribution to the amazing, motivating, friendly community we have here at CrossFit NZ.

If you think that you could be one of those people, then no matter your current fitness level, we would love to hear from you.

Free trial Saturdays 9:30am

We offer a FREE trial session on Saturdays at 930am, during which we will talk to you about your goals, expectations and how CrossFit can help. You will learn a few of the fundamental exercises, before experiencing a short CrossFit workout.

Memberships at CFNZ are on a no contract, direct debit basis. However, we have a tight knit community here, that has no need of tyre kickers and unmotivated people. Make an appointment for a free consult with a coach, look around the gym, watch a class, but then make a decision.   If you want to secure one of the few remaining memberships, then you must commit to an initial 3 months to get started.

Private Fundamentals
We take great pride in our coaching and consider it our main point of difference.  We utilise this expertise as much as possible by delivering one on one coaching to all new members, allowing you to learn at your own pace, and get to know the coaches better……which is important, we hope to become an big part of your life.
During these sessions, we’ll teach foundational movements, address injuries and imbalances, talk nutrition, mobility and recovery practices, as well as just getting to know you, your goals, your obstacles etc.

Not your average gym

In fact, we’re not really a gym at all……..we’re a coaching facility.  We coach you in kettlebell training, bodyweight calisthenics, Olympic weightlifting and gymnastics; purposely avoiding muscle isolating machines in favour of the real world movements of life and sport.

Our students come from all walks of life: students, business executives, stay-at-home parents, triathletes, and martial artists. Our focus is on improving ALL areas of fitness (Endurance, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Agility, Balance etc), which also means we avoid imbalance, and you don’t get bored!

Fitness is not an afterthought

Exercise, performed sporadically, incorrectly, and without intensity and passion will not provide the kind of results that we all want.

You will never see our clients sitting on a bike, reading a magazine. Our workouts are intense – demanding focus and commitment; challenging you and your body to perform to your full potential.

CrossFit is for anyone

If it’s been a while since you’ve exercised, don’t worry. All our workouts are “scalable” based on your current ability. We make adjustments in the repetitions, weight, and distance so that everyone can participate.

Every workout is different, we rarely do the same thing twice, and because our workouts are no more than 45 minutes long they can fit into even the busiest schedules. And we guarantee that it will be the most effective 45 minutes you ever experienced.

Finally, CrossFit is FUN! You’ll find both coaches and participants welcoming, supportive, and committed to creating an environment where everyone can succeed. To us, fitness is a part of life.
